Roger Wolcott Early Child Center Reviews

The kindergarten experience was good, but while the school helped us assess issues our child had, it took the entire school year to do so. The process of evaluating took too long, and would have been more beneficial if they would have moved the process along more quickly. Parent involvement was necessary and it was a good experience as well. Kindergarten focues on academics, with regular homework assignments. Specials were fun and looked forward to. The teachers need to let the kids be kids longer, though.

My daughter is currently attending Roger Wolcott and it is wonderful. The teachers are caring and attentive. The school is well equipted and clean. The students are always watched over and taken care of. The art, music, and PE programs are great and my daughter looks forward to going every day. The only problems is most kids can only go half day, since it is the only kindergarten in the town, which is really only about 2 1/2 hours of actual class time. But they are reading and writing and thriving so well there, I can't imagine anyone having any complaints.
