Parkville Community School Reviews

My child has attended this school for the past five years, there has been a lot of ups and down for my child. This is a good school but, some teachers tend to get lazy. If a parent do not get involved in this school you will not see results from teachers. I have learned the more you do surprise visits, and constantly have the teachers see you. You will get results, and also asking my child the everyday question how was school? For the parents that don't have the time for the visits, and your child goes to this school. Make some kind of effort because some of these teachers not all. Know what they can get away with if parents are not there for the child.

While in the preschool program, my child spent excessive amounts of time watching video tapes which had no educational value. On occasion, they showed up to 3 movies per day. Although there is a public library within walking distance, they never went there. If you only need your children to be babysat and not educated, this is the place for them.

This school is not a school where the kids get the attention they need. There are so many kids in the school with issues that they tend to put the children on the back burner. My child did not receive help for 2 yrs even with me going to the school on a regularbasis. More attention needs to be placed on this school.
